So I've been told that I suck at updating my blog (mom). Lol. the last week has been a blast! I hiked up diamond head which is a huge crater that was formed from a volcanic explosion. There was a military base ther during WWII. On tuesday we went on a fishing charter trip. It was pretty sweet to see oahu from the water. Its absolutely gorgeous. Turns out I get pretty seasick. :( I tried really hard to be optimistic and fish but I really felt awful. Neither of us ended up catching a single thing. We did get to eat the fresh fish that other people on the boat had caught tho. On wednesday we checked out pearl harbor. The bus took forever to get there but the USS Arizona display was awesome. On thursday we went to germaine's luau. It was a awesome show. There were hula dancers and flame throwers! Friday I dragged nick to lulu's for some great burgers and live music! Saturday was another beach day. I really can't get enough of just sittin on the beach and relaxing. I had to leave wicked early this morning. Left the hotel at 430 for my 700 flight. It was a seven hour flight and I slept the entire way. I met a really nice man from fiji but didn't really talk to him because I was too busy being passed out. Little did I know that when you fly from hawaii to fiji you lose an entire day. So instead of getting here on the 1st I got here on the 2nd. Even my hostel was confused because I booked from the 1st to the 5th and showed up today. Whoops. It kinda sucks tho because that means I only get 3 nights in fiji. Its beautiful here. I think I'm kind of in an undeveloped area there aren't too maby big buildings or resorts around. I got a taxi from the airport (paid for by my hostel) and came to the hostel. Its really nice here but kind of dead. I'm in a dorm room with like 8 beds and I'm the only one in there. I dropped off my stuff and changed immediately! Its ridiculously humid here. I went for a walk on the beach and met some man named ron who cut open a coconut for me. I gave him a couple bucks and headed back to the hostel. I devided to book a night at the beachcomber island because its soo dead here. I'm hopin I can hit up happy hour next door tho and meet some people. It should be a pretty good night for like 100 bucks. I just wish I had more time here. There seems to be soo much to do! I'm definately going to have to come back and this time pay attention to the loss of a day. Just caught the end of the superbowl too. Pretty good game! Its weird to watch it in the middle of the day with the beach 10 ft away. Definately different. Ill update again soon!
